I've been in the design industry many years and during my time I've been privileged to work for some of the largest branding agencies in the UK as well as some of the more smaller intimate ones. I have found that, in theory, most of the same tools apply throughout - the difference is the size of the overheads!
How can you translate your client’s brand energy into a message that has amazing impact if you haven’t learnt their language? How can you grow their business if you haven’t cultivated their brand roots?
I started out in purely graphic design but was intrigued by the whole marketing mix and so, years later, I’m able to see things from both sides of the fence.
