Asylum is a compelling, imaginative idea, distilled into a dramatic 90 second cinematic debut for DepicT, Watersheds unique film making competition for the Encounters Short Film Festival.

RJDA have again demonstrated their versatility in providing cutting edge solutions – this time by coming up with an innovative 360 degree turntable for showcasing product videos for The AGA Group.

Shot in a whitewashed curved studio environment under controlled lighting the 2m turntable enables browsers to the groups websites, www.rangemaster.co.uk & www.falconappliances.co.uk, to view motion product images with a virtual reality feel.

Using advanced compression and streaming techniques, it can be used on websites or on a CD-ROM for presentations as an interactive alternative to traditional photography. It can also be combined with overlaid flash animation for added interactivity and visual appeal.

Matt Underwood, Web Development Manager at RJDA, is confident virtual reality video will soon become an effective marketing tool for more of RJDA’s clients as they seek to gain market share.
