FRESH from University, Ross Fletcher was always one to keep your eye on.
It usually takes a few months for a recent graduate to settle into the ‘real world’ of client deadlines and budgets as our studio manager, Chris explains:
“Pressures in the work environment are very different to the pressures of university. During your studies, you often have months to prepare your design concepts, when in reality, you can have just days.
“We love getting new talent in the studio with fresh ideas, but it can often take a while for graduate designers to settle in” he continued, “which can often mean they don’t get as involved with client work straight away.”
On this occasion, creative designer Ross, surprised the team with his winning concept for a recent pitch to Derbyshire County Council for their fostering campaign. Well done Ross!
Ross was unavailable for comment as he’s too busy working on the new business and other client work, but he’s always got a smile on his face so we guess he’s enjoying it!
